The 10 Best Face Oils
At Nakin we love face oils, as they are so kind and nourishing to skin. When we think of a face oil we think of a gorgeous natural glow to the complexion. These days face oils have come a long way and are very much part of a daily beauty routine for many. This is why we use them in our natural skincare range. The best ones utilise amazing plant oil ingredients, that when blended together naturally contain a cocktail of intense nutrients that bring skin back to life. Our criteria for the best face oils is that they are made of 100% natural ingredients, and that those ingredients are blended to make a gorgeous face oil. Read on for our list of the 10 best face oils.
Nakin Revitalising Face Oil £24
This anti-ageing face oil sinks beautifully into the skin and is one of the best ways to calm, energise and nourish skin. The Nakin Revitalising Face Oil £24 for 50ml delivers the best plant oils like argan, baobab and peach kernel oil to the face and neck. It is suitable for all skin types, as the plant ingredients are neither too rich nor drying. Although it is an oil it has an amazing non-greasy finish for soft smooth glowing skin. This award-winning 5-star rated natural face oil offers amazing value for a skin treatment. At Nakin we believe in applying a face oil before a face cream moisturiser. This is because good face creams contain invisible protection to keep nasties like pollution away from skin. So, applying a face oil on top of a moisturiser stops the face oil reaching the skin cells and working its magic.
One of the benefits that customers love about our face cream and takes it into the top ranking is how calming and healing it is. Our face and neck are subject to lots of physical, emotional and environmental stress and skin often reacts to this with sensitivity, dryness and breakouts. Our beautiful face oil helps with all of these to calm, strengthen and revive the face and neck.
Goop Enriching Face Oil £98
When we saw the price of this face oil, we assumed it was going to have some very rare precious ingredients in it. So, we were surprised that it mainly contains everyday plant oils like sunflower and olive. It does contain some nice flower extracts though like iris, chamomile and daffodil. We included it in our list though as it has such good user reviews. One review said that it was moisturising, easy to use and left a nice glow.
Sante Verde Extra Rich Beauty Elixir £36
This is a rich oil, so best suited to drier skin types. It is a small bottle of 30ml and is a mix of some nice plant oils, like evening primrose and rosehip. They advise that it helps skin by nourishing intensively, supporting the natural regeneration of your skin, encouraging the natural collagen production and elasticity.
Kae L'Huile de Beaute Organic Argan Oil £32
This oil is just pure argan oil. It is designed to protect skin damage caused to skin from exposure to sun, heat, cold, wind, air-conditioning, seawater, chlorine, smoke, pollution and skin irritations. It can also be used on the body, as well as the face, so great if you like minimal products hanging around. Argan oil is a lovely oil for skin, with many nutrients and without a clogging or greasy feel.
Kosas Tinted Face Oil £34
This face oil is quite unique in that it contains iron oxide that works to give a pigment and coverage to skin. It comes in 16 different shades, so there is something for everyone. It should be easy to find a match and we could see the colour range goes from light to dark skin. It is described as a lightly tinted oil with weightless hydration and sheer coverage to blur imperfections. It also deeply nourishes with avocado, meadowfoam, red raspberry, jojoba and camellia. Nice if you like to use a face oil in the daytime, and also like some make-up colour coverage on your face.
Tata Harper Retonoic Nutrient Face Oil £148
Although this is an expensive option, we know that some people do not have a budget and prefer to spend a lot on face products, so this is for you. They describe it is lightweight facial oil to improve the skin's natural glow, texture, and hydration. A weightless blend of biocompatible micronutrients, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. As with most good face oils it helps relieve and stabilize vulnerable, irritated and chapped skin. Reviews say that it helps with eczema breakouts and gives a nice natural glow.
Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil £35
This face oil is just pure organic rosehip oil. We often wonder why brands do this and just bottle one plant oil, as organic rosehip oil can be bought anywhere and for a much cheaper price. However, Trilogy are a long-established skincare company and so if price is not an issue for you, then you might like to try this oil. Rosehip oil is nice for the face and does not clog pores, and apparently Victoria Beckham uses it.
REN Bio Retinoid Anti-Wrinkle Concentrate Oil £54
This is a small bottle at 30ml, although face oils do tend to last a long time, as a little goes a long way. But we included it as it markets itself as an alternative to retinol. Synthetic retinol can be harsh and irritating to skin. One reviewer commented that it is easy and effective to use.
Sunday Riley Juno Antioxidant Superfood Facial Oil £54
This oil is particularly recommended for those that live in the city, which is fast paced and has lots of grime from the air. It has lots of nice fruit oils including blackberry, blueberry, raspberry, cranberry and grape.
Aurelia Cell Repair Night Oil £66
This is included for those that prefer different products for use at night-time than in the day. At Nakin we do not believe in using different products in the day and night, as skin loving ingredient work as well in the day and night. The only exception is SPF sunscreen which should only be use on skin when actually going out in the sun. As expected, this is an intensive rich oil. The size is 30ml.
A top ten face oil distinguishes itself through a blend of quality, efficacy, and sensory experience. Key factors include the use of pure, natural ingredients, with a preference for plant oils that retain their nutritional profile. The efficacy of a face oil lies in its ability to deeply moisturise without clogging pores, targeting specific skin concerns such as dryness, ageing, or dullness. A luxurious texture that absorbs readily, coupled with a pleasant, mild natural fragrance, enhances the user's experience, making the application of face oil a cherished part of a skincare routine.
