Phenoxyethanol Free Skincare

At Nakin all of our natural skincare is free of phenoxyethanol as we work to make our anti-ageing face products as kind to the skin as possible. This is why they are filled with lots of amazing plant actives and oils, to help skin to look as good as it can naturally. Where possible we make our products 100% natural and this can be achieved with oils and balms, but for creams, tonics and foaming products some sort of preservative system is required. This is because these formulations include water in them and so they could quickly develop microbes if there is no preservative. However, there are different types of preservatives. The most common ones used in conventional skincare are parabens, and of course these are banned from all of Nakin’s products. But we also make our products to be free of phenoxyethanol, a different preservative that has had some controversy over the years. So if you are looking for phenoxyethanol  free skincare then we hope that you can take a look at our range of natural cleansers, treatments and moisturisers.

At Nakin we take the formulation of our products seriously and it is important to produce them to the highest standard possible. This includes being extremely strict with the ingredients that we use in our products, making sure that they contain the highest quality plant ingredients that help skin in multiple ways, but also that they do not contain anything that can cause harm to skin or throw it off balance.

When it comes to skincare, we all want products that are safe for our skin and health. Unfortunately, many skincare products on the market contain potentially harmful chemicals that might not be the best for our bodies and the environment. One such chemical is phenoxyethanol, a preservative commonly used in skincare products.

Phenoxyethanol is a synthetic preservative commonly used in cosmetics and skincare products to prevent the growth of microorganisms. It is used in a wide range of products, including cleansers, toners, moisturisers, and serums. While phenoxyethanol is considered safe in small quantities, it can cause skin irritation, allergic reactions, and even more severe health problems in some cases.

Using phenoxyethanol-free skincare products has numerous benefits for your skin and health. Firstly, you decrease your exposure to harmful chemicals, reducing your risk of developing skin allergies and irritation. Secondly, we believe that phenoxyethanol-free skincare products are gentler on your skin, meaning you are less likely to suffer from dryness, redness, or inflammation.

When choosing phenoxyethanol-free skincare products, there are a few things to keep in mind to ensure that you are getting high-quality, safe products. Firstly, always check the ingredient list on the packaging and avoid products that contain unwanted chemicals, such as parabens and synthetic fragrances.

Using phenoxyethanol-free skincare products is a simple but effective way to keep the ingredients that you use as safe as possible. With so many natural and safe alternatives available, you can enjoy high-quality skincare products without putting yourself at risk. So, take some time to research your options, read the ingredient lists carefully, and choose products that suit your individual needs and preferences.
