Face Products that are Kind to Reactive Skin

If you have skin that easily reacts to products, then you will know how hard it can be to find a routine. It can be a case of trial and error as different ingredients in face products will cause different reactions in us. However, there are also some common ones that affect a lot of people with sensitive skin. This includes ingredients like synthetic AHA and BHA’s, vitamin C, plus retinoids. This is why all of these ingredients are on our banned list at Nakin, as well as hundreds of more unwanted ones that we feel are not great for our skin.

Most of us want to have good skin but at Nakin we do not believe that it should come at a price, whereby our skin is irritated when we use them, and our skin barrier compromised and weakened. Instead of using these harsh synthetic active ingredients, at Nakin we opt for natural ones that are kind and nourishing to our face and neck, and less likely to make skin react. Our natural anti-ageing face products contain everything that you could need in a good skincare routine, and for skin that easily reacts we recommend a simple routine as outlined below. Please carry out a patch test of the products before using them fully, as with any new product.

• Begin your routine with our Advanced Cleansing Milk, which is an oil-based cleanser that cleanses the face while hydrating and comforting at the same time with the hyaluronic acid and the plant cleansing and conditioning extracts. Clean away with damp cotton wool, a cloth, or when in the shower.
• Use our Eye Cream Complex for the eye area which is hydrating, line smoothing and energising from its plant peptide, hyaluronic acid and stimulating plant and marine extracts.
• Then use our Revitalising Face Oil for your face and neck. The oil is rich and nutritious without being greasy. It helps to heal the skin barrier and immediately calms skin and leaves a lovely glow, plus is great at helping with stressed skin issues like dryness or sensitivity.
• Seal all the goodness in with our Active Dew Face Cream which hydrates, nourishes and protects the skin with hyaluronic acid, cassia, pomegranate and plant oils. This is for day and night use. It does not contain SPF, which should be applied before going outside and topped up as required. Our Matt Formula Face Cream is better for oilier skin types.

Most of our customer love our range but we should point out that it can feel different to many other face products on the market, as we do not use synthetic moisturising ingredients like silicones and glycols. These provide a silky cocooning feel but do not have any beauty benefits. Instead, we prefer to fill our products with as much skin boosting plant ingredients as possible and the formulas sink beautifully into the skin.
