Easy Skin Routine for Normal & Combination Skin Types

If you have normal or combination skin type, then you might be unsure about which category that you fall into. Normal and combination skin are actually very similar because in reality none of us really have normal skin, and instead it is normally a mixed skin type and on the combination skin spectrum. If your skin is on the normal combination side, then the key element to your skincare routine is using high quality ingredients that are neither too rich or drying. This is exactly what we offer at Nakin, as our natural skincare uses high-performing plant actives and extracts that all skin types love.

With normal and combination skin you can use everything in our range. Whatever your skin type we always recommend putting a good focus on cleansing products as it is such an important part of having good skin, plus using treatments and a moisturiser afterwards.

We have excellent anti-ageing treatments for all skin types that help to enhance the skin on our face and neck. Our moisturisers are split by skin type but both for normal and combination skin, we have either the Matt Formula Face Cream if your skin is on the oily side, or the Active Dew Face Cream if your skin is more on the dry side. They are also for both day and night use as they do not contain SPF, which is usually not enough protection when in a face cream, plus they are filled with actives and extracts that benefit skin in both the day and night.

For a skincare routine for normal and combination skin we would recommend the below:

• Start with the Rejuvenating Face Wash or the Advanced Cleansing Milk. The face wash is a really thorough cleanse with its luxurious foaming formula, and the cleansing milk is hydrating and comforting with its plant oil formula. Follow with the Purifying Face Toner to double cleanse, tone and energise.
• For treatments you use our Eye Cream Complex and then either the Revitalising Face Oil (great for nourishing, calming and skin glow) or the Performance Face Serum (good for hydration, lines and all-round anti-ageing). You can use just one, or both.
• Next you can use our Matt Formula Face Cream or Active Dew Face Cream.  Both are really hydrating and never greasy due to the high-quality natural ingredients that they contain. The Matt Cream is not as rich as the Dew Cream, but both have long-lasting hydration.
• Finish with our Lip Treatment Balm to hydrate and protect your lips if desired.
