Alternative to Decleor Balms

We know how popular the Decleor face balms are and for those of you that are looking for a new option to replace them, then we hope that you can try our Revitalising Face Oil. Despite being an oil, it shares many properties with all the Decleor Balms, the main difference is that balms are richer, and can be too rich to use on the face when in a leave on product, such as a treatment or moisturising balm.

At Nakin we have had many happy customers coming to use our natural anti-ageing face products instead of Decleor, it started off as being from the Decleor balms no longer being available in the UK, and then after loving our products it becomes about enjoying using Nakin. Our products are not the same and the formulas are completely different, but we have the same philosophy using the benefits of natural ingredients in skincare products.

Alternative to Decleor Balms

Our Revitalising Face Oil makes a lovely alternative to all the Decleor balms, with lots of added benefits, and we feel also feel that it is less likely to cause congestion. An oil is more easily accepted into the skin cells than a balm, which can sit on the surface of skin more, and the Decleor balm ingredients look really rich. Looking at the ingredients of their balms, they contains lots of lovely oils but also beeswax and carnauba wax, which we would not recommend using on your face, at Nakin we only use beeswax and carnauba wax in our lip balm as the skin here is thinner and needs more barrier protection, plus the lips do not get congested in the same way that our skin does.

Our Revitalising Face Oil is not specifically made for any one issue and is for all skin types, but it will give your skin an excellent boost and help to balance oil on the face, which the jojoba oil is especially good for. All of the plant oils within the formula are high quality and it is free of richer ingredients such as butters and coconut oil. It is also incredibly calming, nourishing, comforting, and healing for skin, and being so natural it is readily accepted and sinks into skin easily.

One big difference, between Nakin and Decleor is that we do not use as many essential oils in our products, as we feel that they can be sensitising to skin. There are some as part of our subtle 100% natural fragrance in most of our products, except the Eye Cream Complex which is fragrance free, and we use mint oil in our Lip Treatment Balm. Our products are also more natural than Decleor’s and we do not use synthetic moisturising agents which give that kind of silky soft luxury feel, however, they have no benefits to skin. Instead, we prefer to use as much plant-based skin boosting ingredients as possible.
