Many of the big high street cosmetic brands use large advertising campaigns and paid influencer posts to obtain our trust. But it does not necessarily mean that the products are better. Cheaper Alternative to Clarins Double Serum

This Clarins serum is one of the best selling in the country, but it is not so purse friendly at £88 for 50ml. This lotion is a firm favourite with those that have oilier skin types due to its light consistency. If you prefer a lighter face moisturiser, or have oilier skin and like a more matt look then our Anti-Ageing Matt Formula Face Cream will be a good option. Cheaper Alternative to Origins Plantscription Anti-Ageing Power Eye Cream

This eye cream does have good reviews, but it is £45 for 15ml and so many people just cannot afford to use it. When we were researching this product we were also shocked at the ingredients list as it is packed with chemicals like PEGs. We were surprised as we had thought that Origins was a natural brand and at Nakin we much prefer to use natural ingredients where possible. Alternative to Liz Earle’s Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser

The Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Cleanser has been a favourite for many years due to its gentle exfoliation abilities. The main active ingredients in it are cocoa butter and eucalyptus which can be nice for skin, but why not replace it with an alternative such as our Anti-Ageing Advanced Cleansing Milk which contains hyaluronic acid and seaweed to cleanse and boost skin. Simply apply as normal but remove with a luke-warm damp muslin cloth, using small circular movements. Natural Alternative to Pixi Glow Tonic

We have heard lots of good things about this face toner, however, when we checked out the ingredient list we noticed that it contains quite a lot of synthetic chemicals like PEGs.
