Sensitive Skincare

Our Sensitive Skincare Range

All of Nakin's products are formulated with sensitive skincare in mind. Anyone with sensitive skin knows that tingling feeling you can get after you apply a skin product to your face. Of course it can be much worse, and cause redness and irritation. At Nakin we do not think that anyone's skin should have to feel like this. We believe that everything you put on your skin should be kind and work with our natural biology. That's why we developed Nakin to be highly effective, but formulated with natural skin loving ingredients.

Sensitive Skincare

Nakin products work in harmony with skin, so as not to cause irritation & disruption to the surface and deeper dermal layers. It's hard to believe that there are still so many skincare products out there that contain so many strong synthetic ingredients, that are harsh to skin. At Nakin we make it easy as all of our range is suitable for customers with sensitive skin, and we have great feedback about this from customers.

Nakin has a complete face care system of sensitive skin care products, that are packed with an array of plant ingredients, extracts, oils and butters, and free from harsh synthetic ingredients.

How is Nakin a Sensitive Skin Care Company?

When we formulate products we have a number of criteria that are essential, and we do not compromise on. This includes ensuring that our products are suitable for customers with sensitive skin. We do not compromise on this requirement. This is why we do not formulate our range with harsh anti-ageing ingredients such as Retinol, Vitamin C and synthetic Alpha Hydroxy Acids like Glycolic Acid, as these can cause inflammation and irritation. Instead, we use the finest ingredients that nature has to offer, that not only help to repair and regenerate, but also calm and harmonise the skins sensitive system.

What areas does Nakin Provide Sensitive Beauty Products for?

We have face products suitable for sensitive skin for:

  • Facial moisturisers
  • Facial cleansers
  • Facial treatments
  • Makeup removal
  • Personal Care
  • Daily skincare routine

Our range is created to help with all aspects of your skin care regime.

What Ingredients do Nakin Skincare Products Contain?

The source of our ingredients is something that we take very seriously. We only use trusted ethical responsible suppliers. When we design our packaging we take care to be completely transparent and clear with our ingredients listings, to give customers as much information as possible.

We understand how important it is that customers have 100% trust in our products and the ingredients that we use. We do recommend that customers carry out a patch test when applying anything new to their skin. Although our products are kind and gentle, sometimes people can be allergic to even the most natural kind ingredient.

Does Nakin have a Serum for Sensitive Skin?

Yes. A serum has become an essential part of all our face care routines and as with all of our products, ours is specially made for customers with sensitive skin. It contains super powerful skin improving and repairing plant actives, but the good news is that they are kind to even the most sensitive of skins. So customers can rest assured that they are caring for their skin in the best way possible, without risking damage, redness and irritation.

    Sensitive Skin Face Serum:

Does Nakin have Sensitive Skin Face Cleansers?

Yes. The face cleansers that we have are all suitable for customers with sensitive skin. Anyone with sensitive skin knows that cleansing can be one of the trickiest aspects of skincare to overcome. This is because lots of skin cleansers, especially face washes, and toners can contain strong cleansing agents. This includes products such as some of the glow tonics and micellar waters, and they can strip skin and cause irritation. At Nakin we pride ourselves on our gentle face cleansers that are highly effective, while being kind to skin.

      They include:

Does Nakin have Sensitive Care Lip Balm?

Yes, our lip balm is perfect for calming and conditioning even the driest and sorest of lips. You can take a look here.

Does Nakin have Sensitive Skincare Gift Sets?

Nakin has a small range of face products for sensitive skin and we sometimes produce gift sets. All of our products are packaged in boxes and make lovely gifts for a friend or loved one.

How do I know if I’m Buying a Sensitive Skincare Product?

You’ll see on our site in the description all of the ingredients listings for each product.  If you would like any specific sensitive skin related information about a product, please get in touch, and we’ll be happy to help out.

Sometimes even products that are natural skincare can contain ingredients that cause skin sensitivity, or strip skin. This is because there is no real legal requirement on using the term 'natural' on skin products. The best way to check is to study a products ingredients label. Any product with less than 98% natural ingredients is likely to contain content that is not desirable for skin. At Nakin the only content in our skincare that is not completely natural is a tiny amount of gentle preservatives, where required. This is essential to maintain the safety of the products, and we only use preservatives that gentle to skin. If there are any questions about our ingredients, we’re more than happy to answer them.

      Is Sensitive Skincare Expensive?

It can be, but we want to make our products as accessible as possible. That means we don’t want to charge customers a premium simply because they’re looking for a sensitive skincare product.
